As part of my project I'm developing a website and I want to make the pages accessible for blind people, that's why I need to use TTS and speech recognition services with javascript.

I'm searching for a TTS API that works with the Hebrew language. I tried SpeechSynthesis but I didn't found any reference to Hebrew, the same thing happened with ResponsiveVoice.JS. The only option I found work with Hebrew is Google Cloud but this API doesn't work with JS natively.

Is there any TTS API that can speak Hebrew characters or possible way to import Google Hebrew TTS with Javascript for my web application?

Before my answer, I'd like to point out that questions asking for API choices are not allowed on Stack Overflow. Despite that...

You are looking for the Google TTS API. It works for JS, and is the voice you here with Google Translate. I'd recommend you keep all your JS in a node file for maximum compatibility (NPM is quite nice). Note you can only read 200 characters at a time.

Hope this helped!
